At Vision Potential we work hard to provide the best vision outcomes for all of our patients and open up a whole new world through the power of Vision Therapy and Corrective Lenses.
At our Browns Plains clinic, our patients range from very young children and teenagers right through to adults who need some assistance to improve their vision as they age.
Below are some of our recent case studies that provide a window into how behavioural optometry and other treatments have assisted our patients to achieve their goals and see comfortably today and into the future.
If these problems you have any questions about these case studies, or would like to know how we can help you or your family why not call (07) 3800 1988 or contact us online to speak with our friendly staff.
Lachlan - Grade 4
We loved working with Lachlan, a grade 4 student who went through our Vision therapy program in 2012. When he first came to see us he was achieving Cs and Ds at school and had lost his confidence.
Most importantly, Lachlan didn’t like reading- it was too boring and too hard.
As Lachlan and mum went through the Vision Therapy program with our staff Lachlan’s confidence steadily grew and his marks improved at school.
Since his vision has improved he is continuing to improve at school and reading has become much easier and a lot less boring for young Lachlan.
Sharon - Grade 12
Sharon was a Grade 12 student working hard to complete her final year of high school and go on to achieve her goals at university. Although she was already performing well at school, Sharon suffered from many headaches and blurry vision when studying and going through exams. This made her studies uncomfortable and exams more difficult to complete.
After seeing us at the clinic for an inital assesment, Vision Therapy was recommended to correct the vision issues causing her frequent headaches and blurred vision.
After going through Vision Therapy Sharon has begun her university studies free from the headaches and blurry vision of her highschool days.
Anne - Grade 3
Anne's parents approached us at the clinic concerned that their daughter was falling behind at school and that this may be vision related as this is very common.
On top of this, Anne was also worried that her best friend was a much better reader than her. In fact, she would arrive home from school in tears as a result.
After an intial assesment of Anne's vision, a course of Vision Therapy was started and as a result of this Anne is now achieving above average in her school work.
And, most importantly, Anne is now just as good at reading as her best friend!
